Today is Edge Day
Being straight edge is probably the best decision I have ever made in my life. Straight edge means so much more to me than just not smoking, or drinking, or doing drugs. Straight edge to me is a promise to myself to never compromise who I am. Its a promise to be the best person I possibly can. To always take the right path, even when it is the harder one. To stand up for what I believe, and to speak out against what I don’t. It’s a commitment to always keep an open mind and an open heart and not to judge anyone by anything but who they are. I don’t care if you drink, or smoke, or do drugs. It’s not my place to tell you what you can and can not do with your life and your body. As long as you are responsible about it, and it isn’t affecting anyone else, I couldn’t care less. So happy edge day everyone! Whether you’re edge or not!
